Luke Watson

Luke Watson will serve as a volunteer assistant for the Nittany Lion programs for the second straight year in 2011-12. Watson was an eight-time NCAA All-American and six-time Big East Champion while competing for the University of Notre Dame. Watson graduated from Notre Dame with a B.B.A. in Accounting in 2002, and a M.S. in 2003. The Stillwater, Minn., native is now pursuing a Ph.D. in Accounting at Penn State. Watson continues to compete professionally for Mizuno. Watson still holds Notre Dame records in the indoor mile (3:57.83) and the 3,000-meter steeplechase (8:37.61).
