Syrnick enters his final season with the Nittany Lions after a solid 2006. Syrnick placed in the top seven throughout his junior year. He also posted success in the track seasons with a ninth place finish in the 3000 meter steeplechase at the Big Ten Championships. Syrnick will look to close out his Lion career with a strong 2007 as he is one of Penn State's most experienced returners. * Also coming off a strong freshman campaign in 2005. * 66th at the 2005 Big Ten Championships as a freshman. * His 18th place finish at Lock Haven Invitational was outstanding as well. * Placed 74th at the Mid-Atlantic Regionals with a 32:17. A top cross country runner at Central High School in Philadelphia, Syrnick won the Public League title in cross country and in the 1,600-meters on the track. He lettered in cross country and track last season at Penn State in his freshman season.
