NITTANY LION ACCOMPLISHMENTS On the National Stage 2006: Placed 16th overall in the 800 at the NCAA East Regional (1:52.81)

At the Big Tens Indoor Track 2006: Placed third in the 800 (1:51.91) 2005: Placed seventh in the 600 (1:19.34) Outdoor Track 2006: Won the 800 meter individual title with the best time in the conference that year and a personal best (1:48.78) 2005: Placed 8th in the 800 (1:50.60)

Some of Miller's other accomplishments 2006: -Took third place in the 800 at the Uconn/Princeton Tri-meet -Finished second in the 800 at the Sykes-Sabock Challenge, contributing to a team victory -Placed second in the 800 (1:49.89) and ran on the third place 4x800 team to help the Nittany Lions to an ICAAAA title -Began the season with a first place finish in the 800 at the Jim Thorpe Meet -Placed 12th overall in the 800 against major competition at the Sea Ray Relays 2005: -Took second in the 600 at the Penn State National (1:20.41) -Finished third in the 600 at the Sykes-Sabock (1:19.11) -Took first in the 800 at the Penn State Open (1:53.46) -Ran the lead leg on the 4x800 relay team that posted a 7:28.33, good for fifth place in the Championship of America at the Penn Relays, and a top ten time nationally

HIGH SCHOOL ACCOMPLISHMENTS -A scorer in the New Jersey Meet of Champions before relocating to Pennsylvania -Scored in the 400 at the PIAA Championships -Also competed in water polo, swimming, and cross country

Coach Sullivan states: A returning Big Ten champion in the 800m, Mark is training hard and is very poised to compete for the win again as this year unfolds. A talented and exciting athlete, Mark will always give his best as he competes for Penn State.
