Barber and Augustus Fall Short of Finals at IAAF World Championships in Athletics
Fifth-year senior Aleesha Barber (Decatur, Ga.), competing for Trinidad and Tobago, ran a season-best, but can up just shy of a spot in the 100-meter hurdle final Wednesday, bowing out after the semi-final round at the IAAF World Championships in Athletics, at Olympic Stadium. Nittany Lion alum and fellow hurdler Toyin Augustus of Nigeria also failed to advance in her second-career World Championship appearance. Read More >>
