Jessica Riden Position: Director of Operations Years: Sixth Year

Former Nittany Lion distance runner Jessica Riden is in her fourth year at Penn State, serving as the director of track and field operations for the men's and women's track and field programs. Riden will oversee numerous administrative tasks for the men's and women's track and field/cross country programs. Her responsibilities include meet management, alumni relations, and overseeing the Penn State Official's Group, along with many other day-to-day tasks involved in running a track and field program. Riden also serves as the athletic communications contact for Penn State track and field/cross country, producing the teams' media guide and writing all team press releases. After graduating from Penn State in 2004, Riden worked as an Athletic Communications Assistant at Bucknell University, where she served as the primary contact for 10 Division I sports, including men's and women's track and field, baseball, field hockey, and men's and women's swimming and diving. Most recently, Riden was the Media Relations Coordinator at East Tennessee State University, in Johnson City, Tenn. While at ETSU, Riden covered all media relations responsibilities for women's basketball, volleyball, softball, and men's and women's track and field.
