Before Penn State ... || High School || Mills scored a fifth-place finish in the 3200-meters at the 2011 PIAA Outdoor Championships, via a career-best effort of 10:53.27. Also a standout in cross country, Mills finished 23rd at the PIAA Cross Country Championships as a senior. Mills, who owns a 1600-meter PR of 5:00.33 was also a PIAA qualifier in outdoor track as a junior, and competed at the indoor state meet as a senior.
