2004: Third in the shot put at the NCAA East Regional (59-7)
At the Big Ten Championships
Indoor Track
2005: Finished sixth in the shot at the Indoor Championships (56-5.75)
Outdoor Track
2004: Took ninth place overall in the shot put (56-1) and 20th in the discus
2003: Finished seventh in the shot put (55-9.75)

-Took first in the shot put (52-6) and second in the discus (141-2) at the Jim Thorpe Meet
-Finished third in the shot at the Gatorade Challenge (55-7)
-Third in the shot at the Nittany Lion Relays (53-8.5)
-Won the shot put at the PSU Open (56-3.75), also taking third in the discus (148-10)
2004:
-Won the shot put at the Akron Quad Meet, K.T. Woodman Classic, and Jim Thorpe Meets
-Also won the discus at the Nittany Lion Relays and took second at the Jim Thorpe
2003:
-Took second in the shot at the West Virginia Classic
-Finished third at the Uconn/Princeton Tri-Meet (52-1)
-Took first in the Eastern Division at the Penn Relays in the shot put (55-3.75)
HIGH SCHOOL ACCOMPLISHMENTS
-An All-State second-teamer in football
-PIAA 2A Champion in the shot put
Coach Wenger states:
Dane is determined to have a great senior campaign. He is extremely dedicated and focused on what he can do to throw far this year and make an impact for the men's program. He has been an NCAA qualifier in the past and he is set on having his best performances ever this final year. Dane will provide great leadership for the throws group.
