toggle_code_helper_button('code_helper_button', 'content');">Recent Arkansas Hall of Fame inductee, GiGi Johnson joined the Penn State staff in August 2004. Johnson, a 2001 graduate of Arkansas, shattered or is a part of 12 school records for both indoor and outdoor track and field. In addition, Johnson, who finished fourth at the 2008 US Olympic Trials, won the NACAC Combined Event Challenge Championship in August of 2006. At the 2005 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, Johnson was the runner-up in the heptathlon, before finishing third in 2007. The 2001 NCAA indoor triple jump champion and outdoor runner-up, Johnson competed in more indoor events than any other Lady Razorback athlete. She is a 25-time JUCO All-American and five-time national champion. In 2001 she finished third at the 2001 USA Outdoor Championships and competed at the World Championships and World University Games in the heptathlon. In 2002 she won the NACAC by more than 400 points (5,461). Johnson travels the world competing in the heptathlon and has competed in both the 2005 and 2007 IAAF World Championships. Formerly GiGi Miller is coached by her husband and Penn State Associate Head Coach, Chris Johnson. The couple resides in State College.
