Before Penn State ... || High School || A promising multi-event prospect, Chernaskey recently totaled 4255 points to place fourth in the heptathlon at New Balance Outdoor Nationals. No stranger to national competition, Chernaskey also competed in the heptathlon at the USATF Junior Olympics in 2010, placing 11th overall. She competed in the 100-meters, 200-meters, and long jump at the PIAA District 1 Championships as a senior, and qualified for the PIAA State Championships as a sophomore, and again as a junior.
