What Do I Need to Know to Transfer My Tickets?

Eligibility for Seat Transfer
Only 2010 Nittany Lion Club members can transfer tickets to a new or existing account. A maximum of six (6) tickets and minimum of two (2) tickets can be transferred into an account. A maximum of one (1) Reserved Parking pass can be transferred per account.

Transferee Requirements
Transferees must currently be, or may become by June 30, 2010, Nittany Lion Club members in order for their Seat Transfer Application to be approved.

Seat transfers to non-immediate family members* occurring within the Green (Sideline Seatbacks) and Black seating zones require the transferee to have a minimum of 200 Nittany Lion Club points prior to the transfer. If a transferee wishes to acquire the Nittany Lion Club points required to reach the 200-point level, they may do so by contacting the Nittany Lion Club directly at 1-800-NITTANY (1-800-648-8269).

Approval of a seat transfer will be dependent on a transferee's signature signifying agreement to the terms of the Seat Equity Plan to be implemented for the 2011 football season.

Nittany Lion Club Points
Nittany Lion Club points do not transfer from one account to another.

Seat Transfer Program Deadlines
Seat Transfer Applications will be accepted from November 30, 2009, through June 30, 2010 (postmarked). Notification of transfer status for the 2011 season will be provided on or before August 1, 2010.

Transfer Donations
The donation for the transfer of tickets between accounts must accompany the Seat Transfer Application in order for the transfer to be approved. Transfer donations can be paid by the Transferee or the Transferor. Seat Transfer donations, outlined at right, cannot be pledged or made in installments.

The donation associated with a successful transfer will accrue Nittany Lion Club points for the Transferee, but will not substitute for the Transferee's annual Nittany Lion Club contribution. Transfer donations will be 80% tax deductible as described in IRS code, section 170(I).

Donations associated with unsuccessful Seat Transfer Applications will be refunded.

Approval Process
The transfer of football season tickets is at the sole discretion of Penn State Athletics, in accordance with the procedures set forth herein.

All Seat Transfer Applications will be reviewed by a transfer approval clearinghouse to assure that the request meets all necessary conditions. The applicant will be notified whether the request has been granted, or denied, on or before August 1, 2010.

How Do You Apply?
Print and complete the Seat Transfer Application, complete the Seat Transfer Application that came with your packet, or call 1-800-NITTANY and request a Seat Transfer Application. All Seat Transfer Applications should be mailed to the Nittany Lion Club via the Business Reply envelope provided with this mailing.
