Football Season Ticket & Parking Transfer Guidelines
The following guidelines are used by The Pennsylvania State University and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics in evaluating requests to transfer season tickets and parking at Penn State.
Possession of season tickets grants the ticket holder of record (account holder) a revocable opportunity to occupy the designated seats during the specified athletic event. Intercollegiate Athletics and the Nittany Lion Club ("NLC") reserve the right to revoke such privileges. Contributions to Penn State are non-refundable.
A. REQUEST FOR TRANSFER APPLICATION
As a condition to considering a request for transfer of Penn State season football tickets and parking, the account holder must submit a Request for Transfer Application to the NLC office. Approval of a request for transfer of season tickets is at the sole discretion of the NLC. Click Here to Download a Seat Transfer Application

Only current NLC members may transfer tickets to a new or existing account. A maximum of six [6] tickets, and minimum of two [2] tickets may be transferred. A maximum of one [1] Reserved Parking pass may be transferred to a new or existing account.
Tickets purchased under Faculty/Staff or Football Letterman designation are not eligible for transfer. Faculty/Staff and Football Letterman purchasing other tickets associated with their NLC contribution have the opportunity to transfer those tickets only.
Tickets may be transferred from a business (including, without limitation, a corporation, partnership or limited liability company), foundation, family trust or other entity (all referred to together as an "Entity") to an individual, but may not be transferred from an individual to an Entity. All transfers are final after they have been approved by the NLC.
2. Transferee Requirements
Transferee must currently be, or become, a NLC member in order for the Seat Transfer application to be approved.
The Transferee must agree to the terms of the Seat Equity Plan to be implemented for the 2011 football season by signing the Transfer Application.
The Transferee must acknowledge that the NLC is not obligated to relocate transferred seats.
Both the transferee and transferor are required to submit a copy of a valid driver's license, state issued ID, or birth certificate along with the Transfer Application.
Ticket transfers to other than immediate family members* occurring within the Green [sideline chair-backs] and Black zones require the transferee to have a minimum of 200 NLC points. If transferee wishes to acquire the NLC points required to reach the 200 point level, he/she may do so by contacting the NLC directly at 1-800-NITTANY (648-8269).
*For the purposes of the NLC STEP program the term "immediate family members" is defined as the following: Mother, Father, Daughter, Son, Sister, Brother, Stepmother, Stepfather, Stepdaughter, Stepson, Stepbrother, Stepsister, Grandmother, Grandfather, Granddaughter, Grandson.
3. Seat Transfer Program deadlines
The first-time limited opportunity Seat Transfer Applications will be accepted from November 30, 2009, through June 30, 2010 [postmark date].
4. Transfer Fee
The donation for the transfer of tickets between accounts must accompany the Seat Transfer Application to allow the transfer to be approved. Seat transfer donations cannot be pledged or made in installments.
The fee associated with a successful transfer will accrue NLC points for the transferee, but will not substitute for the transferee's annual NLC contribution. Transfer fees will be 80% tax deductible as described in Internal Revenue Code section 170(l). Donations associated with unsuccessful transfer applications will be refunded.
5. Approval process
The transfer of football season tickets is at the sole discretion of the Nittany Lion Club, in accordance with the procedures set forth herein. The request for transfer does not guarantee the request will be approved.
All Ticket Transfer Applications will be reviewed by a transfer approval committee. The applicant will be notified whether the request has been granted or denied on or before August 1, 2010.
5. Scalping
Season ticket & parking privileges will be revoked if an account holder accepts or attempts to solicit monies in order to transfer tickets under this policy, including, without limitation, the posting of bids using online ticketing exchange websites.
