LION CAREER:

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2016-17:
Vigna saw exceptional improvement during her second season as a Nittany Lion. She ended the season with a 24-4 record and tallied four shutout performances. Vigna went on to compete at the Mid-Atlantic/Southern Regionals where she finished the competition in 18th place. 

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2015-16: 
Vigna saw limited action her first year as a Nittany Lion. Vigna ended the season with a 5-4 record.

HIGH SCHOOL/ PERSONAL: Nicolette Vigna comes to Penn State from Thornwood, N.Y. Prior to joining to Nittany Lions, Vigna competed with the Fencing Academy of Westchester under the direction of personal coach Alex Surabishvili. Vigna earned a silver medal at the 2015 Junior Olympics for her performance on epee. Vigna chose Penn State for its excellence in academics and athletics.
