LION CAREER:

AS A JUNIOR IN 2016-17: Charpin had an active third season as a Nittany Lion. She finished the season with a 22-14 record which included one 3-0 shutout performance. Charpin went on to compete in the Mid-Atlantic/Southern Regionals where she placed 16th.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2015-16:
Charpin has another stellar season as a Nittany Lion. Charpin dueled all, but two matches her second season. Charpin came out on top ending the season with a 42-25 record. Charpin went on to compete at the Mid-Atlantic/ Southern Regionals where she came in seventh place and qualified for the NCAA Championships. At the NCAA Championships, she finished 16th with ten wins.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2014-15: Charpin had an exciting, action-packed first season as a Nittany Lion. Charpin saw a ton of collegiate action, fencing all but one dual her freshman year. Charpin tallied seven shutout performances and ended the regular season with a 37-22 record/ Charpin advanced to the NCAA Mid-Atlantic/Southern Regionals, where she came in second place in the sabre event.

HIGH SCHOOL/ PERSONAL: Kathryn Charpin comes to Penn State from Setauket, N.Y. She graduated from Ward Welville High School where she served as the fencing team captain her senior year. Charpin previously fenced at Mission Fencing Center under head coach Jeff Salmon.
