Hi Nittany Lion Kids Club Members!(August)

Welcome to the team! My name is Maddy Evans. I'm a senior on the Penn State Women's Soccer team and this year's Student Athlete Advisory Board President. There is a lot to look forward to this upcoming year, and I hope you are excited to not only cheer on Penn State's amazing sports teams, but also to be part of such an incredible program!

This is the first of several entries you may read as part of the "Diary of A Student Athlete Series." Each month a Penn State Athlete will write a letter, offering Kids Club members a window into the world of a Penn State Student Athlete. I speak on behalf of my fellow athletes when I say that looking up into the stands and seeing your faces is one of the greatest feelings in the world. We wholeheartedly appreciate every single one of our fans and we look forward to hearing you cheer loud and proud for Dear Old State. My teammates and I always say, "I need you, you need me, we need each other." As a Penn State sports fan, YOU are officially a very important piece of that "we." Enjoy the ride!
