Assisant Athletic Director, Ticketing Sales


Jeff Garner was named the Assistant Athletic Director of Ticketing Sales and Service in October of 2013. He oversees all aspects of ticket operations for all 31 Penn State athletic programs.He worked closely with Penn State in the development, construction and opening of Medlar Field at Lubrano Park.

Prior to his appointment at Penn State, Jeff worked for the New Britian Rock Cats Baseball Club as the Executive Vice President of Marketing and Promotional strategies for one year. Beforehand, heworked for the Greenberg Sports Group as Vice President overseeing ticket sales efforts for the State College Spikes and Myrtle Beach Pelicans. He returned to Greensons Baseball in 2007 as Associate General Manager/Senior Director of Ticket Sales for one year. He fulfilled many roles over the span of five years at the Altoona Curve including Sr. Director of Ticket Sales and Marketing, Director of Group Sales, Sales and Marketing Specialist. Garner began his professional career with the Delmarva Shorebirds.

Jeff has earned various awards including the John H. Johnson Presidents Trophy, multiple Freitas awards, 2011 NYPL Organization of the year and the Larry MacPhail Promoational Award.

Garner is a graduate of Robert Morris University with a BSBA in Sports Management. He is married and has two kids.
