The announcement is the largest collection of host site announcements in association history and Penn State has been awarded three of the competitions. The University will also host three predetermined regional championships during that span as well.

University Park will be the site of the 2016 National Collegiate Men's Volleyball Championship, marking the sixth time in school history that Rec Hall has hosted the event. Penn State will serve as the host of the vaunted event on May 5-7, 2016.
