UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.; August 8, 2008 -- The Penn State Athletic Department is pleased to announced the launch of the Penn State Official Sports Report (OSR). The Penn State OSR is a daily report with unique features and late-breaking news delivered to each subscriber's inbox 365 days a year. Also included are helpful links to other Penn State stories and Nittany Lion schedules as well as exclusive video. This new and exciting endeavor will provide Penn State OSR subscribers with an exclusive look atNittany Lion Athletics that they cannot find anywhere else.

"Official Sports Report will serve as an exciting way for our fans to have exclusive features, commentary and breaking news delivered straight to their inbox 365 days a year," said Penn State Director of Athletics Tim Curley. "This initiative will take Penn State fans where they're never been before through unique stories and exclusive video. Our fans have an insatiable appetite for Penn State sports and we hope the daily delivery of the OSR is another exciting way for them to connect."

Penn State graduate Tony Mancuso will serve as the Penn State OSR's official embedded reporter, providing the OSR with unique and exclusive access to Nittany Lion Athletics not previously available to any other outlet.
