With Bowl Season upon us once again, Penn State Athletics is pleased to announce the guidelines with which we will be handling ticket requests this bowl season. Please review all guidelines and deadlines below. As always, questions can be directed to 1-800-NITTANY.

Please note that due to very rapid turnaround time, ticket sale notifications will NOT be sent via US Mail this year.

To Apply for Bowl Tickets:

Nittany Lion Club Member Sale:

ONLINE: Current Nittany Lion Club members can purchase Bowl tickets online at GoPSUsports.com's Ticket Page, www.GoPSUsports.com/tickets starting Sunday, December 6 at 9:00 p.m. In order to purchase tickets online, buyers will need to have their account number and password.

BY PHONE: Nittany Lion Club members also can purchase tickets by phone starting Monday, December 7 at 10:00 a.m. by calling 814-865-5555. Ticket office hours on those days will be:

Monday, Dec. 7: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Tuesday, Dec. 8: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Wednesday, Dec. 9: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

The deadline for all online and phone orders is Wednesday, December 9 at 6:00 p.m.

A Special Note on Allocation: It is not necessary to place your order on the first day of the sale, because the ticket requests will be put in order and allocated based upon Current Membership in the Nittany Lion Club and accumulated Nittany Lion Club Points.

As has happened in past years, demand for this year's bowl tickets may exceed our supply. While we wish to accommodate all Penn State fans, we may not be able to do so.

If you qualify to receive bowl tickets, tickets will be mailed on Monday, Dec. 14, 2009 and Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2009. If you do not qualify to receive bowl tickets, we will notify you via email and your credit card will be fully refunded.

We want to also inform you that limited tickets may be available directly from the bowl, but these tickets cannot be accessed through Penn State Athletics. The bowl's Official website will be the best place to find information on any additional ticket availability past Penn State's allotment.

Public sale:

Should tickets remain after the Nittany Lion Club sale, the general public can purchase Bowl tickets over the phone on Thursday, Dec. 10 from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. by calling (814) 865-5555.

Student sale:

Penn State students can purchase Bowl tickets on Saturday, December 12 at Gate B of the Bryce Jordan Center from 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Students must have a valid Penn State student ID; cash or credit cards will be accepted.

Student Nittany Lion Club members can purchase Bowl tickets on Saturday, December 12 at Gate A of the Bryce Jordan Center at 6:30 a.m.
