Penn State Girls Volleyball Instructional Camp is open to students entering
grades 7-12 next fall.
The Penn State Girls Volleyball Day Camp is open to students entering grades 1-8 next fall.
The Penn State Girls Volleyball Team Camps and Team Competition Camps are open to students entering grades 9-12 next fall.
Instructional Camp: June 29-July 2
Under the guidance of an expert teaching staff, this camp consists of lectures, demonstrations, individual and team drills. This camp is designed to teach fundamentals and provide an opportunity for individual skill development: serving, passing, defense, attacking, blocking and setting. Players will be grouped by age and experience so they can train in a safe and fun environment.
Who: Students grades 7-12
Fees: $480 resident fee (includes instruction, housing, meals, camp shirt)
$415 commuter fee (includes instruction, all meals, camp shirt)
Meals: Dinner on the first day to lunch on the final day
Volleyball Day Camp: July 11-13
Penn State's Volleyball Day Camp is designed to provide girls with the opportunity to learn volleyball skills in a relaxed and fun environment. The Penn State coaching staff, along with current Penn State women's players, will work with the campers teaching basic volleyball fundamentals, skills, footwork, exercises and games. Campers are grouped according to age, ability, experience, maturity and competitive spirit. Also, because this camp features an excellent coach-to-camper ratio, campers receive supervision, encouragement and excellent instruction. Campers receive a camp shirt. The day camp runs from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Come learn and have fun playing with Penn State Women's Volleyball!

Team Camp I: July 5-8
Team Camp II: July 8-11
These camps provide varsity and junior varsity teams the opportunity to train as a team with the assistance of an outstanding coaching staff. Individual skills will be taught along with offensive and defensive systems and wash drills. Daily competitions and an end-of-camp tournament will be featured. Teams will have access to extra gym time, outstanding facilities and all of the amenities of the Penn State Campus.

Team Competition Camps: July 11-13 & July 26-28
New this summer, we are offering two different experiences at the Penn State Team Competition Camp(s). Every team that attends will begin with demonstrations on individual skills and team concepts. Varsity teams will then compete in a 3 day tournament. Junior varsity teams, under the guidance of the Penn State coaching staff, will train for the first two days. Individual skills and team drills will be followed by a two session tournament. The focus will be to teach younger players so they improve and gain confidence going into the season. The Penn State staff will assist and advise team coaches and focus on each team's needs. These camps offer an outstanding way to prepare your varsity and JV teams for a successful fall season.

For all team camps, teams must bring a minimum of eight or up to a maximum of 14 players. Also, if you are bringing more than one team, fill out a completed copy of the team roster for each team.
Recreation
During camp, participants may spend their free time enjoying Penn State's many recreational facilities, including the outdoor swimming pool.
