About the Clinics

Penn State Soccer Skills Academies are designed for girls in grades 8-12. They are intended to give athletes an opportunity to improve their skills under the tutelage of the Penn State coaching staff. The clinics will focus on technical and tactical aspects of the game in a fun and competitive environment. Goalkeeper training will also be available at both clinics.

Where and When

The clinic on January 8 will be conducted at Holuba Hall from noon-5:00 p.m. All registrants are asked to arrive by 11:30 a.m. on January 8 to check in with academy personnel. In case of inclement weather, you will be contacted by e-mail concerning cancellation.

The clinic on April 29 will be conducted at the West Turf Fields from noon-5:00 p.m. The West Turf Fields are located off of Atherton Street on the corner of Atherton Street and White Course Drive. All registrants are asked to arrive by 11:30 a.m. on April 29 to check in with academy personnel. In case of inclement weather, you will be contacted by e-mail concerning relocation or cancellation.

What to Bring

Participants should bring cleats, shin guards, indoor and outdoor soccer shoes, and rain gear. Goalkeepers should bring all necessary gear.

We will have a break halfway through each clinic. Please bring a snack to energize yourself for the rest of the clinic.
