Who Should Attend

The Penn State Soccer Day Camps are open to girls entering kindergarten through eighth grade next fall.

The Penn State Soccer Overnight Camp I for Individuals/Teams is open to students entering grades 5-8 next fall. Individuals and teams are invited.

The Penn State Soccer Overnight Camp II for Individuals/Teams is open to students entering grades 7-12 next fall. Individuals and teams are invited to attend this camp.

The Penn State Soccer Overnight Camp III for Teams Only is designed for teams entering grades 9-12 next fall. Teams only are invited to attend this camp.

About the Camps

Day Camps

Penn State Soccer Day Camps are designed to provide girls in kindergarten through eighth grade next fall with the opportunity to focus on fundamental technical instruction in a relaxed learning environment. These four-day camps feature small-side games and an excellent coach-to-camper ratio. Campers receive a soccer ball and a camp shirt. The day camps run from 9:00 a.m. to noon.

Who: Kindergarten - Grade 8

Fee: $160 fee (includes instruction, camp shirt, soccer ball)


Overnight Camp I
For Individuals/Teams

(Grades 5-8)

The Penn State Soccer Overnight Camp I for Individuals/Teams is designed to help individuals and teams enjoy soccer, enhance techniques and improve skills. Sessions focus on skill development and tactical training as well as teamwork, preseason training and team tactics. Goalkeepers receive separate, specialized coaching as well as game analysis. This camp offers a great balance of individual skills as well as team development and strategies. Campers receive a camp shirt and a soccer ball. Individuals and teams are invited.

Who: Grades 5-8

Fees:
$520 resident fee (includes instruction, housing, meals, camp shirt, soccer ball)

$455 commuter fee (includes instruction, all meals, camp shirt, soccer ball)

Meals: Dinner on the first day to breakfast on the final day


Overnight Camp II
For Individuals/Teams

(Grades 7-12)

The Penn State Soccer Overnight Camp II for Individuals/Teams is designed to help players enhance techniques and improve skills. Demonstrations and round-robin tournaments feature proper soccer methods and enable participants to practice what they learn. Sessions focus on teamwork, preseason training and team tactics. An additional area of concentration is the development of positional skills and tactical training through functional groups designed to improve positional awareness and understanding. Campers receive a soccer ball and a camp shirt. Goalkeepers receive separate, specialized coaching as well as game analysis from experienced instructors. Individuals and teams are invited.

Who: Grades 7-12

Fees:
$565 resident fee (includes instruction, housing, meals, camp shirt, soccer ball)

$480 commuter fee (includes instruction, all meals, camp shirt, soccer ball)

Meals: Dinner on the first day to breakfast on the final day


Overnight Camp III
For Teams Only

(Grades 9-12)

The Penn State Soccer Overnight Camp III for Teams Only is designed to provide varsity high school, junior varsity and/or club teams with the opportunity to train and compete together under the direction and guidance of college and Olympic Development Program coaches. Each team will have tactical training sessions, technical training and match competition daily. Goalkeepers receive separate, specialized coaching as well as game analysis. Teams must send a minimum of 16 players to the camp. Campers receive a camp shirt. If you are not a member of a team, individuals are being accepted for Overnight Camp I for Individuals/Teams and Overnight Camp II for Individuals/Teams. Please note the grade levels appropriate for each camp.

Who: Grades 9-12 (Varsity, junior varsity and/or club teams)

Fees:
$520 resident fee (includes instruction, housing, meals, camp shirt)

$455 commuter fee (includes instruction, all meals, camp shirt)

Meals: Dinner on the first day to breakfast on the final day


Equipment -- Regardless of the camp, players should bring the necessary practice gear, including soccer flats and rain suits. Shin guards are mandatory for all sessions.

NOTE: You must bring five white T-shirts to train in during the morning sessions.

Recreation -- During camp, participants may spend their free time enjoying Penn State's many recreational facilities, including the outdoor swimming pool.
