Who Should Attend

Penn State Competitive Swimming Camps
are open to students entering grades 4-12 next fall. It is preferred, but not required, that swimmers have a year competitive swimming experience as the camps are not "learn-to-swim" camps. Recent high school graduates not currently enrolled in college are also eligible to attend.

Competitive Transition, Tempo & Kicking Camp

Penn State Competitive Transition, Tempo and Kicking Camp is designed for competitive swimmers looking to maximize stroke efficiency during practices and races. This camp will focus on kicking, arm tempo and the subtle transitions from kicking to swimming that take place during a practice or competition. Becoming more efficient in these areas will save energy and allow the athlete to maintain a higher level of speed for longer periods of time. Each camper will receive a link to gain access to a DropBox analyzing their kicking technique and transition efficiency. This camp is a great way to review and fine tune your skills before your championship meet.
