Introduction

Penn State men's soccer head coach Bob Warming will be the camp director and lead instructor for both January soccer ID clinics. Coach Warming is retiring after 40 years of successful coaching but has been asked to stay on at Penn State and assist with the transition period with the new head coach.

Some of Coach Warming's accolades and accomplishments include:

* Only coach in the United States to have at least one player selected in the MLS draft in 19 of the last 20 years
* Two-time NCAA Division I National Coach of the Year
* Has won the most conference championships of all men's Division I coaches with 28 combined regular season and tournament titles
*Two-time Big Ten Coach of the year-2012 and 2013
*Has won the most cumulative number of Big Ten matches of any school from 2013 to 2016 over those four seasons and the most in school history over any four year period
* Omaha Sports Hall of Fame and the Creighton Sports Hall of Fame
*Coach of the leading scorer in the nation four times
*Was a four-sport Varsity letterman in college

Warming's reputation and passion for developing players in his program carries over into the ID clinics. Players come to experience the inspirational demonstrations, demanding exercises and fun-filled competitions that are included in his Triangle Training Method of player development. The Triangle Training Method is now in over 50 countries worldwide. Visit the educational soccer site TheTriangleTrainingMethod.com that Coach Warming has developed to assist coaches and players with improving their game. Each camper receives a Training Triangle to take home and access to an app demonstrating Triangle Training Method exercises to continue to improve after camp.

Dear Parents and Campers,

Thank you for considering our Penn State Soccer ID Clinics. We strive to have the most competitive, instructional and fun camp for your son to experience. I have run youth summer camps for over 30 years and will run these January clinics with the purpose of continuing to assist players and the incoming new head coach with the development of and spotting of players who want to play in college.

To those of you who have sent a son to one of our past camps, thank you for your continued loyalty; rest assured that your child's camp experience will be every bit as rewarding. Those considering sending a child for the first time should know that the camper's safety and welfare are our top priority and that your child will receive top level instruction, demonstrations and inspiration from a staff that loves coaching and teaching soccer!

All the best,

Bob Warming
Head Soccer Coach
