Soccer ID Clinic
The Soccer ID Clinic is intended to provide a fun, competitive and instructive environment for players to develop their technical, tactical, lifestyle, and physical skills. Players will be exposed to small- and full-sided games as well as a Penn State training session. The Penn State coaching staff will create a training environment that will expose players to what is required of a NCAA Division I student-athlete competing in the Big Ten.
Who: Grades 9 and up
Fee: $125 resident (includes instruction)
WhereThe clinic on April 15 will be conducted at Jeffrey Practice Fields. Jeffrey Practice Fields are located off Park Avenue, next to Stadium West parking lot and Beaver Stadium.
About the Resident CampsPenn State's resident soccer camps are structured to give serious players an opportunity to improve their technical and tactical abilities in practice and game situations. The players are grouped according to ability, experience, maturity and competitive spirit. Participation numbers in all camps are limited to ensure quality instruction.
Facilities -- Exceptional, new natural grass fields, a turf field and large practice areas, playing space is plentiful and readily available. Additional lighted fields also permit 11 vs. 11 games to be played each evening. Game fields, cafeterias, residence halls and recreational facilities are an easy walk from each other.
Equipment -- The players should bring the necessary practice gear, including soccer sneakers and rain gear. Shin guards and a soccer ball are required for all sessions.
Middle School Player Development Camp
This camp is designed to cultivate youth players' technical and tactical development across all positions. In a challenging but fun atmosphere, campers will be coached with some of the most modern techniques available. Players will receive both specific technical instruction along with principles of play that will help them improve quickly.
For the field players, the entire camp will be structured to help you focus on the technique, tactics and mental focus you need to play high quality soccer, and to increase your enjoyment of the sport!
For the goalkeepers, the entire camp will be structured to help you focus on the technique, tactics, communication skills and focus you need to develop yourself to be successful in this very demanding position!
The camp will present a fantastic, competitive environment for goalkeepers and field players. We guarantee that you will improve your understanding of your roles as well as your effectiveness as an individual player. We will provide numerous opportunities for you to improve your game on some of the best playing surfaces in America right here at Penn State!

Advanced Training ID Camp
Penn State Head Coach and his assistant coaches will provide insight into what it takes to make it at the next level of play. Daily specialized technical and tactical training sessions are supplemented with evening 11 vs. 11 matches in a competitive environment. The fields you will train and play on are primarily natural grass surfaces and regarded as some of the best playing surfaces in America.
The curriculum for this camp session will replicate a Penn State men's soccer pre-season training week. Players attending the camp will receive on field instruction at an elite level, be coached in game preparation as well as participate in video sessions to help facilitate their development.
Goalkeeping instruction is under the direct supervision of Penn State's goalkeeper coach. The participants receive advanced specialized coaching and have match-related practice sessions.

Team Prep Camp
The Penn State Boys Soccer Team Prep Camp is open to high school varsity, junior varsity and club teams. Team Prep Camp is designed to provide a fun, competitive and instructive environment for players and coaches to develop their abilities. Players will have the opportunity to develop their technical, tactical, lifestyle and physical skills. In addition, players will be exposed to small- and full-sided games as well as a Penn State coaching session. Coaches will have the opportunity to observe and interact with the Penn State Men's Soccer staff. Players and coaches will be exposed to the standard required to be an NCAA Division I student-athlete.

Note: Teams must bring a minimum of 16 or up to 24 players. Also, if you are bringing more than one team, register each team online.

$220 per person resident (includes instruction, housing, meals, camp shirt)
$195 per person commuter (includes instruction, all meals, camp shirt, no housing)

Team RegistrationTo reserve a team space for Team Prep Camp, the coach/team representative must pre-register online, along with a refundable deposit. Upon completion of the camp, the deposit will be refunded.
Please note: One coach per team attends the camp at no cost. Additional coaches will be charged $60 for housing and meals.
After a team has been registered, the coach/team representative will receive a confirmation e-mail with detailed instructions. The coach/team representative is responsible for providing to each player the team name and password entered during registration. Each coach attending the camp must register online using the extra coaches registration link along with the team name and password. Parents must then register online using the camper registration link along with the team name and password to ensure that their child is placed on the correct team.
