Lacrosse Goalie Camp: June 25-28

The Goalie Camp is designed to provide goalies with the use of specialized drills and individual instruction sessions to enhance skill development in the cage. Solid instruction will focus on strategies to help goalies further refine their skills in game-like situations. Goalies will also participate in all games and several drills during the Penn State Instructional Camp. Instructors in the past have been Penn State alumni and current MLL All-Stars, Long Island Lizard Drew Adams ('09), Chesapeake Bayhawk Chris Garrity ('03) and Boston Cannon Austin Kaut ('14).

Who: Students ages 10-16

Fees:

  • $550 resident (includes instruction, housing, meals, camp shirt)
  • $475 commuter (includes instruction, all meals, camp shirt)

*** Note: Active charges a transaction fee on all camp registrations.

Resident Camper Fee:
$550 plus Transaction Fee $25 = $575 total fee
Commuter Camper Fee: $475 plus Transaction Fee $20 = $495 total fee
Meals: Dinner on the first day to breakfast on the last day


Lacrosse Instructional Camp: June 25-28

The Lacrosse Instructional Camp will include stick-work practices, games and solid instruction that will focus on offensive and defensive strategies to help the players further refine their skills. Individual-help sessions and extra scrimmages under the lights will also be held.

Who: Students ages 10-16

Fees:

  • $475 commuter (includes instruction, all meals, camp shirt)

Prospect Camp: July 23-24

The Prospect Camp is a competitive camp, which will focus on skill development and team play concepts for more advanced skill players who are serious about raising their skills in preparation for playing at the collegiate level. In addition to the field sessions, campers will take part in a variety of off-field activities throughout the camp including, but not limited to, strength training and conditioning, positional skills development, nutrition awareness talks, NCAA recruiting rules education, chalk talks and more. Enrollment will be limited to 74 players.

Who: Students entering their freshman, sophomore and junior year (grades 9-11) during the fall of 2017

When:
July 23 -- 2:00 PM to 8:30 PM
July 24 -- 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM

Where:

Park Avenue West Fields are located off Bigler Road and Park Avenue. All registrants are asked to arrive between 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. to check in with clinic personnel. In case of inclement weather, you will be contacted by e-mail concerning any changes or cancellation.

Equipment --Campers should bring their own lacrosse sticks, helmets, arm and shoulder pads, gloves, cleats, sneakers and mouth guards. Goalies should bring all the necessary gear (chest protectors and throat guards).

Recreation -- During camp, participants may spend their free time enjoying Penn State's many recreational facilities, including the outdoor swimming pool.
