Who Should Attend
The
Penn State Boys Basketball Team Camp is open to
high school varsity teams, junior varsity teams and club teams.
Team Camp will continue to be the premier team camp in the state of Pennsylvania and will provide an opportunity for the campers to improve their skills while playing in organized games against great competition. The teams will be placed into competitive divisions, with each team guaranteed a minimum of five games. Each team must bring a minimum of eight players.
Features of the camp include:
Games conveniently located (all facilities are within walking distance from one another)
Minimum 5 games guaranteed
Games refereed by certified officials
Trainers available at all courts
Equipment: Players should bring their own court shoes and basketball gear. Mouth guards are recommended. Gatorade and water will be provided.

Location & Housing
All Penn State Sport Camps are conducted on Penn State's University Park campus in State College, Pa. Resident campers are housed in
University residence halls. Bed linens are provided. Resident campers should bring a blanket, a pillow, towels, a swimsuit, toiletries and other personal items. Other optional items recommended include a fan, an alarm clock and sunscreen. Laundry facilities are available in the residence halls.
DO NOT BRING VALUABLES TO CAMP. PENN STATE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR STOLEN ITEMS.
Fee & Registration
Who: High school varsity teams, junior varsity teams and club teams
Fee: $900/team. This fee covers instruction, games, a camp shirt for each camper, housing and meals for 12 total participants/coaches.
Early Bird Registration Fee: $800/team.
Completed application forms with full payment must be submitted online by May 1, 2013
Meals: Lunch on the first day to lunch on the last day
Registration for team sport camps is offered online. To reserve a team space for the Penn State Boys Basketball Team Camp, the coach/team representative must complete and submit a registration form online, along with a non-refundable deposit of $100/team. Payment may be made by credit card or e-check. FINAL payment must be received by May 28, 2013
Refunds: Full refunds, minus the non-refundable deposit, will be made for cancellations received by May 28, 2013. Refund requests made after that date will not be honored.

To provide the best possible learning environment and to maintain the quality of the camp, enrollment is limited, so early registration is encouraged. Spots will not be held for those teams that do not have all forms submitted online by May 28, 2013.
Penn State maintains waiting lists for sport camps. To be put on the waiting list if the camp is full, check the appropriate space on the pre-registration form online. Teams on waiting lists may be accepted into camps on short notice. Those teams placed on the waitlist will be automatically charged a refundable deposit of $100/per team. Those waitlisted teams accepted into camp will receive an e-mail acknowledgement. If a team is not accepted into camp due to space availability or any other unforeseen circumstance, the $100 deposit will be automatically refunded to the account used to reserve your team space.

After a team has been registered, the coach/team representative will receive a confirmation e-mail with detailed instructions, a team roster/roommate form
and a medical release form
. Please distribute a medical release form to each of your players. Each participant must complete a medical release form to participate.
Team roster/roommate form: Each coach must complete and submit a team roster/roommate form
by May 28, 2013 to the Penn State Sport Camps office. Please make sure to complete the roommate assignment portion of this form.
Medical release: Each participant must have a medical release form
signed by his parent/legal guardian. Collect all completed individual medical release forms and submit them as one package to Penn State Sport Camps personnel at final registration on Saturday, June 15, 2013.
