UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The four-time defending national champion Penn State women's volleyball team welcomes five additions to the roster for the 2011 campaign.

As the calendar inches closer to the season-opener, GoPSUsports.com wanted to take the opportunity to introduce the Nittany Lion fans to the newcomers.  We caught up with all five freshmen inside Rec Hall for video interviews.  This week, GoPSUsports.com will feature one interview per day to get you ready for the season.

We wrap up our introduction of the Nittany Lion freshmen with Micha Hancock.  The 5-11 setter from Edmond, Okla., guided Edmond Memorial High School to the 2007, 2009 and 2010 Oklahoma 6A State Championship.  Hancock was a two-time All-Edmond Player of the Year, All-City Player of the Year and MVP of the State Championship.  She was twice named Oklahoma Gatorade Player of the Year and a 2010 Under Armour All-American.

Hancock has one sister (Kelsey), who plays volleyball at Tulsa.  Her mother, Kelly, played basketball at Oklahoma State University.  Her father, Michael, was a professional boxer.

Meet Micha Hancock.
