UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Penn State Football is in the air around Happy Valley. The Nittany Lions will return to the practice fields one week from Thursday (Aug. 5). Like any Penn State fan, the All-Sports Blog cannot wait to get back into college football season.

As a primer to the beginning of football season, we have caught up with a few players to see how the offseason has been going. First up is a senior tailback chasing history this fall. Evan Royster heads into 2010 needing just 481 yards to become Penn State's all-time leading rusher. Royster is coming off back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons. He is eager to get practice started next week.

Here is our conversation with Royster.

Stay tuned to the blog and GoPSUTV for more video updates from players as we lead up to our extensive coverage from Big Ten Media Days in Chicago. Also stay tuned to next week for updates from Chicago.
